"I’ve never been to Asia before, and it was fascinating to see a different culture, food and language. The people are beautiful and very hospitable. I made lots of new friends. And I met missionaries like you & others also. I admire that they can sleep in a different bed, because I can’t sleep in a different bed. I admire what you are doing, it is very sacrificial. Definitely. I enjoyed it a lot, especially in the Philippines. My heart is touched. The people there need a lot of help, especially the mothers who left their country to work abroad to provide for the needs of their families.

 

Back in Australia, we are so comfortable in our own home that we don’t see what other people are experiencing. Sometime it is nice to go out of your comfort zone. I supposed getting out of your comfort zone will give you a new perspective on life and will make you realise that other countries have issues and sometimes you will get to know the people personally and their problems. The good thing is that at least you can be there to listen and help them a bit. I encourage everybody to go for mission. I am sure that they will enjoy it." Margo

 

 

"I was very privileged to be able to go with Rose on one of her mission trips to the Philippines. It is truly a beautiful country full of very friendly people. It was a joy to participate in many kinds of outreach for adults and children. From the children's afternoon program to the adults nightly program, dental and doctor clinics and prison ministry and visiting the poorest Mangyan tribes, it was a joy to see God at work. Many souls gave their hearts to the Lord and were baptised. If you have the chance you must experience one of Rose's mission trips." Denise
