Margo,

AUSTRALIA

I had never been to Asia before, and it was fascinating to experience a different culture, cuisine, and language. The people were beautiful and incredibly hospitable. I made lots of new friends and met missionaries like you and many others.

I admire how they can sleep in unfamiliar beds—I personally find that difficult. What you’re doing is truly sacrificial, and I deeply respect it.
I definitely enjoyed my time, especially in the Philippines. It touched my heart. The people there are in great need, particularly the mothers who have left their country to work abroad and provide for their families.

Back in Australia, we’re often so comfortable in our own homes that we don’t realize what others are experiencing. Sometimes, stepping outside your comfort zone can offer a new perspective on life. You begin to see that other countries have struggles too, and you get to know the people and their challenges more personally.
The good thing is, even just being present and listening can help a little. I encourage everyone to go on a mission trip—it’s something I believe they will truly enjoy.

Denise, AUSTRALIA

I felt truly privileged to join Rose on one of her mission trips to the Philippines. It’s a stunning country with incredibly friendly and welcoming people.
Throughout the trip, I had the joy of participating in a wide range of outreach efforts for both adults and children—from the afternoon programs for kids to evening gatherings for adults, as well as dental and medical clinics, prison ministry, and visits to the impoverished Mangyan tribes.
It was amazing to witness God at work in every corner of the mission. Many souls gave their hearts to the Lord and were baptized.
If you ever get the chance, I wholeheartedly encourage you to join one of Rose’s mission trips. It’s a life-changing experience.

Jerry, AUSTRALIA

This mission trip was one of the best five weeks of my life!
Normally, I only contribute financially to charity, but this time, I was deeply moved to connect with the people face-to-face. It made a world of difference.
In a few years, I’ll be financially independent, and I’ve made a firm decision: I will go on a mission trip every single year.
